We will be having a meeting on Thursday, October 11th, 6pm at Fat Boy's Cafe for a debriefing of the the four events we have been through. There has been Riverfest, Edgefest, BDB 100 Race and Argenta Street Beat. Now it is time to eveluate these events and work on how to make them better for the merchants of Argenta.

Downtown North Little Rock businesses and commercial property owners are invited to meet with the staff of Main Street Argenta, the NLR Historic District Commission, and the Downtown NLR Merchants Association to learn about resources and regulations within the Argenta Historic District. Hors d'euvres provided by Argenta Seafood Company.

Thomason's Furniture Awarded Dealer of the Year

AMA member Thomason's Furniture has been recognized by the Arkansas Roadrunners as the winner of the Central District Dealer of the Year for 2007. The awards ceremony will be held at the Diamante Country Club on Tuesday, September 11th. Thomason's also won retailer of the year in 1996.

All of us in Argenta and the AMA offer our congratulations to Joe and his fine staff for achieving this award.

The Argenta Merchants Association has been formed and is now accepting applications for membership. With all of the exciting things that are happening in the Argenta Community, make sure that your voice is heard by participating. Applications are available on the left and dues are $125 per year.
